In 1815, Edmond Dantès, a young captain, falls victim to a conspiracy and is unjustly imprisoned on the eve of his engagement to the beautiful Mercédès, in the dungeons of the Chateau d'If off the coast of Marseille. After fourteen years of captivity, he manages to escape and his adventure leads him to the hidden treasure of

the island of Monte-Cristo. He begins a new life under the name of Count of Monte-Cristo. Rich and powerful but having lost the love of his life, Dantès is determined to exact his revenge by making those who sent him to prison pay…

«The Legend of Monte-Cristo, the Musical» is a musical adaptation of the masterpiece by Alexandre Dumas and will be the event of the year 2026. Featuring Gjon’s Tears as Dantès and Philipinne Lavrey as Mercédès, along with more than twenty people on stage, this show, directed by Serge Postigo, will thrill the audience through songs, choreography, and fabulous sets.
