LAURA PAUSINI – THE GRAND RETURN TO THE STAGE
A new single, a new album, and a world tour
On the occasion of the release of her new single “LA MIA STORIA TRA LE DITA,” which announces her upcoming cover album “IO CANTO 2 / YO CANTO 2,” Laura Pausini reveals with emotion her grand return to the stage.
The world tour “IO CANTO / YO CANTO WORLD TOUR 2026/2027” will kick off in March 2026 and mark the eleventh international tour of the Italian star. Good news for the Swiss audience: Laura Pausini will perform on October 15, 2026, at the Hallenstadion in Zurich and on November 1, 2026, at the Arena in Geneva. Tickets for these two concerts will be on sale starting Saturday, September 13, 2025, via Ticketcorner.
Less than a year after the triumphant conclusion of her record-breaking last tour, Laura Pausini will take to the stage again starting March 2026. And for the first time, she will begin her tour outside of Italy, with an opening date on March 27 in Pamplona (Spain), followed by concerts in Spain, Latin America, the United States, and Canada. The fall of 2026 will see her performing in the largest venues in Italy and Europe, before concluding in 2027 with stadium concerts, notably in Brazil and Europe.
“For me, concerts are perhaps the most essential element of every project,” confides Laura Pausini. “The goal of any musical release is to reach the audience. With this tour, I want to visit as many cities as possible and offer a show that reflects me 100%. I am working intensively to find the ideal stage, setlist, and production to mirror this new musical chapter. Having the chance to pursue a profession that brings me so much joy is a true privilege, and that’s precisely why I dedicate myself entirely to my audience. This tour, for me, is much more than a series of concerts: it’s an intimate meeting with each and every one of my fans.”
The “IO CANTO / YO CANTO WORLD TOUR 2026/2027” confirms Laura Pausini's international prominence. She will perform not only her greatest hits but also the tracks from her new album “IO CANTO 2 / YO CANTO 2,” a follow-up to the cover album “IO CANTO / YO CANTO” (2006), which propelled her to international fame by paying tribute to the greatest Italian songs. This project paved the way for her first Grammy Award, followed by a historic concert at the San Siro Stadium in 2007 in front of 70,000 fans, making her the first woman to perform solo there.
“After winning my first Grammy, I wanted to thank my country by showcasing the Italian music I love the most on an international level, and that’s what I did,” explains Laura Pausini. “Having started in piano bars, it always felt natural for me to sing these songs, even if they weren’t written for me – because they are part of my life, and I feel them as if they were my own. I’ve been contemplating a sequel to IO CANTO for a long time. The decision became clear during my last world tour, which started in 2023 and ended on New Year’s Eve 2024. IO CANTO 2 / YO CANTO 2, which will also be released in Spanish (a novelty), will also include songs from Latin American artists that I deeply love. This project embodies for me the essence of my profession: paying tribute to my idols with humility and passion, dedicating myself to music with pride.”
Laura Pausini is a global pop icon and holds unmatched records as an Italian singer-songwriter: over 75 million records sold, 6 billion streams, the first and only Italian artist to have won a Grammy Award, to have appeared on the Billboard Hot 100, to have won four Latin Grammy Awards, and to have been named “Personality of the Year 2023” by the Latin Recording Academy. She is also the first artist to have performed at both San Siro in Milan and Circus Maximus in Rome. Her accolades include a Golden Globe, an Emmy Award nomination, and an Oscar nomination.
