The opening

The Geneva Arena opened its doors on 1 November 1995 with a concert by Johnny Hallyday, marking the start of an adventure that has never stopped since.

Built in just 10 months, this multipurpose venue was born of the desire to give Geneva and the Lake Geneva region a venue worthy of Europe's greatest stages.

Elton John, Rammstein, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Muse, Céline Dion, David Bowie, Joe Cocker, Indochine, Ray Charles, AC/DC, Leonard Cohen, Rihanna, Charles Aznavour, Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Supertramp, Bruno Mars, Gorillaz

As well as the greatest comedy shows — Gad Elmaleh, Muriel Robin, Florence Foresti — and legendary musicals: Starmania, Notre Dame de Paris, Mamma Mia, Les Dix Commandements.

Not forgetting the Béjart Ballet (Rudra), Riverdance, Cirque du Soleil, Disney on Ice and many more.
