Ennio Morricone, a recipient of a world-renowned Oscar, is considered one of the most prolific film music composers in history. He has written over 500 film scores for cinema and television, creating legendary pieces.
He received his last Oscar in February 2016 for « The Hateful 8 » by Tarantino. Morricone immortalized himself nearly 50 years ago with his music for « Play Me the Song of Death ». His compositions for the classic Italian western « The Good, the Bad and the Ugly », for the drama « Mission » by Roland Joffé, and for the film « Cinema Paradiso » by Giuseppe Tornatore have gained particular notoriety.
His fans can discover the unforgettable works of Morricone live in selected cities.
Featured guest Marc Breitfelder is among the best harmonica players in the world. Additionally, the grand ensemble of soloists, the orchestra and the choir of the Milano Festival Opera are on stage to bring Morricone's captivating music to life.
